Meniere's Disease is one of the most common causes of incapacitating vertigo and nerve deafness. Until recently, very little could be done to control these disabling symptoms, often the normal inner ear hearing and balance functions were disabled.

The Center for Advanced Treatment of Meniere's Disease and Balance Disorders uses a multidisciplinary team approach to care for adult and pediatric patients afflicted with Meniere's Disease and related disorders. The staff of physicians, neurotologists, audiologists, neurologists and physical therapists work closely with neurosurgeons, psychiatrists and pharmacologists to ensure the best, most complete treatment available.

By using the only state-of-the-art vestibular diagnostic laboratory in the southeastern United States, Latin America and the Caribbean, this center provides a comprehensive approach to effectively diagnose those patients suffering from the disease. To help patients return to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible, the center offers a full complement of rehabilitative services-from hearing devices to balance therapy, all of which are provided to patients by certified audiologists and physical therapists.
