Ear Institute
"Making medical miracles happen" for the hearing impaired is the prime goal of the University of Miami School of Medicine Ear Institute. The Institute includes various specialty centers:

Sinus, Voice and Speech Disorders
The Center for Sinus, Voice and Speech Disorders is designed to accommodate the specific needs of patients through coordinated, state-of-the-art methods to successfully diagnose and treat those with nasal, sinus and voice complaints.
Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division is committed to excellence in cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures of the head and neck.
Head and Neck Surgery
The Head and Neck SurgeryDivision has a comprehensive, multi-specialty team that includes otolaryngologists, vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons, and radiologists to handle head and neck tumors, which in many cases are fatal if not treated in a timely manner.
Pediatric Otolaryngology
Cutting-edge technology is used in both diagnosis and surgical therapy. All aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery are treated in this division including deafness and other communication disorders.
